ONE FOR THE ROAD

Willy Russell's hilarious comedy of middle class 70s suburbia starred GTC veterans Michael Hatfield, Jeanne Bain, Jonty Fotheringham and Kerry Greenwood.  It was directed by Jason Browne.

 

A TOUCH OF DANGER

This intriguing thriller from maestro Francis Durbridge was directed by GTC Chairman Barry Evans.  It starred Jonty Fotheringham again, along with experienced performers including Dawn Horrey, Helen Hempstock, Paddy Johnson and Dennis Greaves.

 

FOOL'S PARADISE

Peter Coke's farce introduced some new faces to the Old Nick as Liz Burman and daughter Annelise, Anna Warburton and James Weaver joined veterans Eleanor Bowker, Millie Creasy, Jason Browne and Jo Motley in a show directed by Alan Ayris.

 

SEPTEMBER IN THE RAIN

John Godber's bittersweet nostalgic comedy was the sequen to "Happy Jack" and saw the well-loved characters from that show reminisce about their earliest holidays in Blackpool.  The production was directed by Kerry Greenwood, taking over from Steven Pikett who had directed the first show, and again performed by Millie Creasey and Liz and Jonty Fotheringham as Jack.  The production was revived briefly for an appearance at the Wakefield Theatre Festival.
